Epoxy Table Transportation

6. TRANSPORTATION

You may start off by building an epoxy project for yourself. You may even be building a table for a friend or a client. Either way, you will reach a point where your projects will become bigger and require transportation for delivery. Preparation is key to ensuring the final product reaches its destination in perfect condition.

We prefer to use dual protection layer when transporting any final epoxy products. Although epoxy is very strong, handling it with care will prevent any cracking or scratches, especially when road surfaces are bumpy and uneven.

We use bubble wrap as the first layer. This adds some friction and prevents the table from accidentally sliding out of the protective cover. Secondly, we cover and strap the table in thick cotton blankets. We also lay a thick foam sheet on the back of the transport vehicle. We even cover the foam sheet with a cotton blanket to ensure even contact, eliminating any isolated pressure points.

Choose the route with the least number of speedbumps and go slow around the corners. There is no sense in patiently completing your epoxy project, only to have it ruined during delivery.
